Area Attractions
Whether you come for a season or just a night, our peaceful environment of
beautiful sunsets, wild birds and the tranquility of our marina will bring you
back time and time again.
Our convenient location makes day trips to local attractions very easy. A short
trip north on the Elk River takes you to the famous Chesapeake and Delaware
Canal and the town of Chesapeake City, MD. There you can visit the C&D Canal
Museum, enjoy lunch or dinner in one of their fine restaurants, "shop until you
drop" or just sit along the canal and enjoy ice cream as you watch the ships go
by.
If you're interested in fishing, we are just a short distance from the
Susquehanna River and the Susquehanna River flats. Havre de Grace has a nice
decoy museum, a wide selection of shops and restaurants, parks and docks. Like
Chesapeake City, you and your family can easily spend many days enjoying the
sights and attractions here.
A short trip south will take you to the waterman's town of Rock Hall. A little
further south takes you to Kent Island and the home of Red Eyes Dock Bar and
Thunder on the Bay. Traveling west across the Bay from our Marina will take you
to Baltimore Harbor and all of it's attractions.
